Cox Cable E-card

coxcard

Here’s a holiday E-card I made for a local cable company.  I tried to make it as non denominational as possible since it’s getting sent out to a wide variety of people.

I do the snowman’s voice and my son did the kid’s voice. I know the sound quality isn’t amazing, but hey,  I don’t have a proffesional recording studio in my attic. sorry. The list of holidays Click Here For More…

2d Animation Project2

Intermediate Project for 2d Animation Class

This is my second project for my 2d animation class. I spent a lot of time on it, then the file got corrupt, and I had to spend even more time on it. So many late hours….ugh.

The graphic talk scene is a clip from the “Golden Girls”, don’t ask why. The phototalk scene is a student at tri-c and the audio is Tommy Wiseauo in the “Room”. Also the music in the animated mask scene is from an artist called Nullsleep. I also made a nice lego man for the zoom scene, if I don’t say so for myself. The movie Click Here For More…

stearns mock-up

This is my mock up for a non-profit farm that my web 2 class is doing a site redesign for. It’s a local historic farm in Parma, oh. I decided to go with the rustic look, I also thought a simple navigation would be good for the site’s audience. I built this mock up using Adobe Fireworks cs4 and PhotoShop cs4

Flash Catalyst: Cool.

So, I just downloaded one of the newest programs in the adobe library, Flash Catalyst. I have to say I like it. It’s a program to help designers and developers stream line flash application development.

As a designer I can create a mock up of my application in illustrator or photoshop and transfer it over with all the layers to Catalyst. Then from within Catalyst, I can add interactivity, motion effects, transitions, etc. A designer can create an almost fully functioning app. On the developer side, this catalyst creation can be brought into Flash Builder 4 and add additional code and functionality.
